Hi, I'm Parita — a Product Design leader who has spent 15 years building products used and loved by hundreds of millions of people, and helping teams do their best work along the way.
From Windows 10's universal UI system, to YouTube's 100X creator growth engine and first-of-its-kind supervised experience for families, to an industry-first ML-powered ad product, to Dream11's live sports watch-alongs shipped from scratch in under two months. Though the industries have been wildly different, the approach stays robust: start with deep customer understanding, read the human psychology underneath it, and and build the business case alongside the design case.
Some of my proudest work has been less visible: advocating for the right hire, forging new ways to collaborate effectively, coaching a designer into their own confidence. The conditions quietly created for great work to happen.
After a decade in Silicon Valley, I moved to Mumbai — to be closer to my family — and took on the challenge of building from a very different vantage point. Trading a large, resourced org for a scrappy startup meant relearning how to move, influence, and create — faster, leaner, and with a lot more at stake. It's been the sharpest education of my career.
